According to report by Akwa Ibom Trending,Akwa Ibom State Ministry,  Annex, Ikot Ekpene Road (Former AKTC Terminal) has been shut down  by host community demanding for financial

compensation from the Government for establishment of the Government office in their community without due consultations.
