In a brand new interview, rapper Jay Z slammed President Donald Trump for his ‘hurtful’ comments about African nations being ’sh*thole countries.’
Jay stated that the current president’s behavior is just really ‘disappointing and hurtful.
Recall that Trump caused a lot of outrage when he called Haiti and other African nations ‘sh*thole countries.’
Jay Z says
‘Everyone feels anger, but after that, it is really hurtful because he is looking down on a whole population of people and he is so misinformed because these places have beautiful people,’
Jay Z also brought into the discussion yet another controversial Donald – Donald Sterling – (former LA Clippers owner) issue
The man was also exposed for being racist when phone calls of his surfaced in 2014. During those calls, he would ask his mistress not to attend any games with black guys.
He, of course, lost his team but Jay Z had something to say about that solution as well.
‘OK, that’s one way to do it. But another way is let him have his team and then let’s talk about it together. … Maybe some penalties. Because when you do that, all the other closet racists run back in the hole. You have not fixed anything. What you have done is spray perfume on the trash can.’
Finally, from Jay Z’s point of view, this is precisely what led to electing a president like Donald Trump.
‘You do not take the trash out. You keep spraying whatever on it and make it acceptable, and as those things grow, you create a super bug. And now we have Donald Trump – the super bug!’
If you recall, Donald Trump had earlier reportedly made the “shit*ole” comment during a meeting with congressional leaders in the Oval Office some weeks back.
“Why are we having all these people from s—hole countries come here?” Trump allegedly said after being presented with a proposal to restore protections for immigrants from the countries in question.
In response to that, the AU demanded an apology from the President over the hateful comment about Africa
