BREAKING: Sierra Leone postpones presidential run-off to March 31

Sierra Leone’s election commission on Monday announced a presidential run-off planned for Tuesday will now be held on Saturday due to preparation time lost to a court order halting its activities.

The National Electoral Commission (NEC) said the date had moved “due to logistical delays resulting from the injunction”, referring to a temporary stay on the vote issued by the High Court lifted on Monday.
