Sylvia Edem-Emechete became popular when she won the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant in 2002. Then an undergraduate at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, she was highly sought after by members of the opposite sex.
In 2007, she got married to a multi-millionaire businessman, Chris Emechete, and relocated to the United Kingdom afterwards.
