The Presidential Committee on the North East Initiative, PCNI, has debunked reports making the rounds that its chairman, Lieutenant Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (retd.) has resigned.
The Head, Media and Communication, Presidential Committee on the North East Initiative, Alkasim Abdulkadir, released a statement on the development via the organisation’s Twitter handle.
Abdulkadir urged newsmen to verify stories with them before publishing.
Gen. TY Danjuma has in recent times been embroiled in controversy over his call on citizens to defend themselves by bearing arms.
