Even though the Calabar mono rail does not run through the main city itself and is only 2.5 kilometers between the Calabar International Convention center and Tinapa Resort, it offers a glimpse into what Nigeria's intracity public transit can be.

It shows that Nigerian cities are capable of building efficient public transportation systems and urban city planning .
