France star Paul Pogba was restored to the Manchester United starting line-up for Sunday’s clash with Newcastle.
Pogba was dropped by United manager Jose Mourinho for last weekend’s win over Huddersfield.
The 24-year-old midfielder’s demotion came after he was substituted following a lacklustre display in United’s recent loss at Tottenham.
United legends Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney have both said Pogba isn’t being used in the right position to get the best out of him.
But Mourinho responded this week by saying he didn’t understand the criticism, while defending his relationship with former Juventus player.
Pogba’s return to the United team at St James’ Park came at the expense of youngster Scott McTominay, who dropped to the bench as one of four changes from Huddersfield.
