The Word of God is a two edged sword, just as we have the good, we also have the bad. Not all prophecies are from God, therefore we must be weary of false prophets who abound now.
One of the workings of false prophets is to create fear.
Anything contrary to the word of God and may even lead to sin should be rejected.
